Montalcino: the home of Brunello. Need I truly write any more? Ok, I will. The ubiquitous description is "a beautiful, hilltop town in Tuscany." But, as all the towns (and roads, and country houses, and sheds and seemingly, even the trees) are all perched on hills, one must stretch beyond the prevalent caricature and go deeper.
