The 2012 edition of the Banée festival gets underway this weekend and includes a massive pig roast open to the public and featuring the wines of the 24 member wineries of the Oliver/Osoyoos Wine Country association. Stroll the grounds of Covert Farms as you sample the efforts of local chefs pairing various incarnations of roasted pork with the fabulous wines of the South Okanagan. The event takes place on Saturday, May 5th from 1pm until 4pm. Tickets available here.
